Servilles Ponsonby

Met with Servilles Ponsonby, Auckland today regarding the possibility of being part of their next "For the love of our hood" evening.
Every 6 weeks Servilles Ponsonby runs an evening showcasing local talent/businesses. Basically it's a well organised night, where a number of sponsors jump on board, knab a bunch of the public in the area, grab a glass of wine, and a canape, and help promote each other.....which in the current economic climate, is wicked.
Its a fantastic concept, and something we definately want to jump on board with.
We're looking at the idea of a small fashion show, with guest celebrity models!

Awesome chick

This pretty lady is the most awesome-ist......she brought the very first tee at 9.42am Saturday 20 June......just 42 minutes after 'addiction to love' went on sale for the very first time! YOU ROCK BABE! She was with her Mum (who I might add was a very funky Mum) They were buying it as a gift for her brother......awwww, nice eh. If anyone knows who she is let us know, so we can add a name to the face. Hollah

We created these timber figures on long vintage chains, to accessorise our tees. They're laser cut, and engraved, then hand assembled. The timber looks awesome against the tees, and adds an edge to your look.
They all also come as a brooch, to whack on your chest, scarf, hat, or bag.

This is the other design for the boys......cracks me up everytime I look at it, and I'll tell you why.....

this is an actual porn pic! we edited it for the tee. If we had left it in its original state
1. We would'nt have been able to use it 'cos of it's pure filth nature, and,
2. You would be walking around with a big fat knob resting on a chicks bottom lip - too rich

A plethora of paints @ the printers

It was such a stimulating environment to be in.... this wall was way cool with all the paint pots. Pick a colour any colour....it was there, and every one had been given its own unique name.




After each tee is hand printed, it is conveyed through this massive printers drying machine (friggin hot!) basically baking the ink onto the fabric. Also each label logo is hand done inside the neck, and dried by hand. The complete process for this first run of printing, from start to finish took around three hours.....thats around 6 beers, or a bottle of wine - or if your any of my mates, 6 beers AND a bottle of wine!




Our first screens go to print. All our tees are lovingly hand printed 'cos of their oversize proportions. A lenghty but rewarding process.
